This page contains the files needed to install and run Hex version 5.1. This version (26 June 2008) includes new 3D and 5D FFT docking correlations, and the ability to read SDF files as well as PDB files.
Please read the README file first. For the Windows-XP version, just download and run the self-installer hex-5a-win.exe. For Mac OS X, download the disc image hex-5a-osx.dmg and then double-click the package bundle Hex5a.pkg. For Linux versions, download the installation script hex_setup.bin and select the gzipped tar file (.tgz) that most closely corresponds to your system. The Linux binaries are labeled according to the Linux version the were built on: UB9 means Ubuntu 9.04 (newest), UB8 means Ubuntu 8.04, UB7 means Ubuntu 7.01, FC8 means Fedora Core 8, FC6 means Fedora Core 6, FC4 means Fedora Core 4, RH9 means RedHat 9 (oldest), MDK means Mandrake, CTS means Centos. Please note that the Mac version requires Mac OSX 10.4 or later. It does not work on OSX 10.3, and it does not work on the new Intel Macs. The basic installation includes a Manual and some examples. A more extensive list of examples is provided in the Hex Home Page.
